Have you ever done that thing in your business, where someone's told you something like "oh you neeeed to go live!" because that's the only way that people are going to see your business.

And you do it because "that's the only way people are going to see you in business..." but every time you hit record you want the ground to just swallow you up whole?

Sucks, doesn't it?

Because you don't want your business to fail (which is what the person is telling you will happen if you don't do at LEAST 3 lives a week...urgh)

So, what if I told you that actually, going live may not be the best way for you to be visible?

You have a natural brand identity that makes it easier for you to engage, communicate and connect with your ideal clients.

You just need to find yours.

How to develop a Natural Brand Identity?

Soo if forcing yourself to setup your ring-light (again) or having to write another blog post feels like wading through mud, developing a Natural Brand Identity is probably a good way to go.

Because instead of forcing yourself to do what everyone else is doing, you get to do your own thing that comes easier to you.

Here's a few bits of advice to start developing your own:

You're a Square Peg, own it.

Being different in business is actually a good thing.

Unfortunately, there's that much noise online that it's hard to actually shut it all out and know what works for you. From one business owner to another - I get it.

And this is where a natural Brand Identity comes in. Because instead of trying to follow some LinkedIn guru's advice of shouting louder, hustling harder and going live 3 times a week, you get to choose how you're recognised and remembered, in a way that comes easily to you.

Learn your Natural Brand Personality

You may have tried to force this happy, high-energy personality into your brand, but it will always default to the Brand Personality that naturally works for you. So learning about yours is a great start to develoing a brand identity that resonates with your audience.

In the Brand Blueprint, your brand personality is broken down into its 3 archetypes (there are 12 different ones!). It will give you an insight into how you are designed to present your brand - from the experience you give your clients to how you communicate with them.

Connect your Brand Back to You

When I say this people start thinking I'm talking about a Personal Brand. And I am not (read the reasons why in this post)

Your business brand needs to connect deeply with you (as the founder and owner of the business). So taking your story, your vision and values to influence the brand is part of creating a natural brand (and what I call Founder-Led Branding).

Why your Audience with resonate with your Natural Brand Identity?

Because it's real.

It's not something you've designed or created. It's not a characture of your life that you have to keep up the facade to sell.

It's you, but a more considered you. You don't have to share the reasons why the dog went to the vet (if that's not part of the brand you're creating) but it still means that you can create a personality that connects deeply with your audience and ideal client.
